A. The hearing officer has appellate jurisdiction over the determination of animals classified as Level 1, 2, 3, or 4 by the chief animal care and regulation officer, related written administrative orders, and animals forfeited pursuant to WMC 7.04.100(C)(1) or 7.20.040(E).

B. The hearing officer has original jurisdiction over the determination of animals recommended for classification as Level 5 by the chief animal care and regulation officer. (Ord. 09-69(AM) § 4, 2009; Ord. 09-50 § 2, 2009; prior code § 12.30.020)
