Fifteen minutes before the polls close, an election official shall announce the current time and the time the polls close. Failure to make the announcement at 15 minutes before closing time shall not in any way invalidate the election or extend the time for closing of the polls. After closing, no person will be allowed to enter the precinct for purposes of voting. Every qualified voter present and in line at the time the polls close may vote.
