2.04.020 Qualification of council members.

A. A person is eligible to be a council member if the person:
1. Is registered and in all other respects qualified to vote in city elections as provided in WMC 4.08.010; and
2. Has been a resident of the city or of territory annexed to the city for one year immediately prior to the election or appointment to fill a vacancy. (Ord. 10-33 § 2, 2010; prior code § 2.04.020)
