The adoption of the Wasilla Municipal Code does not affect prosecutions for ordinance violations committed prior to the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter,* does not waive any fee or penalty due and unpaid on the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter, and does not affect the validity of any contract, obligation, bond or cash deposit posted, executed, incurred, filed or deposited pursuant to the requirements of any ordinance.
